Special Grama Sabha Meeting
Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin)

A special Grama Sabha meeting was held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Kadangode Grama Panchayat Community Hall, as a preliminary step towards preparing the Viksit Gram Panchayat Plan (VGPP) under the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin).
The meeting was presided over by Sri. P. A. Unnikrishnan, Chairman of the Health and Education Standing Committee. The Panchayat President, Adv. K. M. Nowshad, inaugurated the meeting. In his inaugural address, the President explained the importance of planning and implementing the activities under the scheme in a more effective and efficient manner.
Sri. Anto Paul, Block Panchayat Member, offered felicitations. Vice President Smt. Anila Joseph and the Ward Members also extended their felicitations.
Sri. Antony Master, a member of the Vigilance and Monitoring Committee, spoke about the VB-G RAM G scheme. Assistant Secretary Smt. Deepa P. A. and Village Extension Officers Smt. Surya K. and Smt. Ansu Alex were also present at the meeting.
Accredited Engineer Smt. Bindu explained the Viksit Gram Panchayat Plan (VGPP) and presented a detailed presentation on the subject.
The meeting concluded after a vote of thanks. Various suggestions and ideas required for preparing the VGPP under the scheme were discussed, marking the successful conclusion of the special Grama Sabha meeting.
